Trixie is a very sweet senior girl with such expressive eyes!  She really looks like she has a story to tell.  Trixie recently spent some time in a temporary foster home so she could get a break from the cage at Petco.  After a few days of adjustment, she became very friendly and receptive to being pet all over.  She was also able to eventually meet her foster family's cats and small dog and the meeting went well.  After a week in her temporary foster home, she got along with both cats and the dog, and was very curious to explore the home.  

 We feel that Trixie will be able to get along with other cats and small dogs, but she will need time in her own space to adapt.  The personality of all the pets in the home will also need to be taken into consideration.  Trixie has become quite cuddly and friendly with her foster mom now that she's had some time in her 'safe place'.



Trixie really needs a furever home of her own, with a patient adopter that is willing to give her time to adapt and feel safe, comfortable, and loved.


This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
