Thomas has one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever find in a kitty, but his rough start in life has made him rather timid and shy around people. Once you get to know him, he is a total marshmallow without an aggressive bone in his body. If you’ll let him sleep at the foot of your bed he will reward you with loud purrs, head butts and free kitty massages. He is also a sucker for scratches behind the ears and back rubs during meal time and will stand as high as he can on his tippy toes so you can reach him better while he chows down. But don’t be discouraged if he runs and hides when you approach him most other times. He was rescued from a feral colony when he was 5 weeks old and his natural instinct to fear people had already kicked in so even though you can hear how much he loves you in his loud purr and you can see it in his big, sweet eyes when he looks up at you, he just can’t help running away when big, scary humans move toward him.

Thomas is a beautiful, gentle kitty who will bring years of joy to the family that will accept him as he is. Don’t worry for one second that he isn’t a typical kitten in every way. He absolutely loves playing with the feather wand, will run up the wall after the laser pointer and will spend hours wrestling and playing with the other foster kittens. Because other kittens really bring Thomas out of his shell, it is in his best interest that he be adopted with another playful, feline friend.

Thomas is completely litter box trained, has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his shots. Thomas was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia when he was just baby, but has managed to completely kick it and has since been given a clean bill of health!

Despite all Thomas has been through in his short life he is still one of the sweetest, most gentle kittens I’ve ever fostered and he deserves to find a forever family that will give him LOTS of love and attention…on his terms.
