Dana the Dog needs a home
Dana is approx. 4 years old and 55 lbs. She traveled all the way to Magnificent Mutts from Tunisia (next to Libya) see "before" picture. She was used over and over by a breeder while chained up outside in the rain and cold where she cared for several litters of puppies then sold to another breeder until they no longer had use for her after her last litter died from lack of food while they laid around their starving, uncared for momma. Their plan was to dispose of her in a dumpster as she no longer served a purpose. A caring individual came along and was able to move her into foster care with the intent to move her to the US where she knew she would be safe and could find a forever home for the rest of her life. She is a bit skiddish at first meet. Prefers females - likes to be in the same room to observe. Does not prefer to cuddle -- prefers her own space. Our experience through foster care is she prefers females. Best in a home with other dog(s) and no smaller children.
