I’m a dignified senior who enjoys my naps and my people (I do give kisses), but like many grand dames, I take medication and need some special care. I’m an early riser (between 5:00-6:00 am), and my bladder isn’t what it used to be, so I need to visit the yard first thing and every 2 ½ to 3 hours throughout the day. I tend to pace quite a bit in the morning and when the tv is on (bring me to your lap and I usually calm down to enjoy a show with you). I’m taking medication to help with this as well as my heart and kidney conditions. Although my eyesight is poor, I find my way around pretty well. I get along well with other dogs, but I am also happy to be your one and only. You should know that I don’t like crates or being confined with gates or doors. The best home for me would be one where someone is present for the greater part of the day. I may be up there in years, but I still have an appetite and a zest for life in a nurturing home.
