Adopt a Pomeranian
Nyla the Dog needs a home
This adorable sweet pup comes to us from a rural shelter in SC. She was rescued from her home after her elderly owner was removed by social services for poor living conditions, and take in by animal control. She has been fostered with 2 other small dogs and is a very social girl who enjoys her pack. She's been cat tested too, and had no reaction.
Nyla is a very good natured, friendly pup who always has a big smile, and loves people. She would be quite happy to sit in your lap or cuddle on the couch all day?. She did great at her vet check up, and was very patient and tolerant with ?all the staff at the shelter. You can tell she is used to being? held and? handled?,? and will always let you know if she feels she's not getting enough attention...?She ?LOVES to be petted
Nyla came into rescue with an old leg injury, and had x-rays done. ??The shelter's vet who examined her said she was not in pain, and surgery was not needed. Her foster mom confirms that Nyla does not allow her old leg injury to affect how she lives her life?. She gets around fine, she handles steps ?well, and can jump up on the couch? with no issues.
She is crate trained and currently sleeps in her crate at night. She is mostly potty trained, but did use pee pad in her old home, so her foster mom has been working to transition her 100% to go outside. She has come a long way, knows to go outside now, and never has accidents in her crate.

You can also help save dogs like this one by becoming a foster, providing a rescue dog with a temporary home and giving them the love and care they need until they are permanently adopted. Every person who fosters is directly responsible for saving the life of a dog, because we can only save as many dogs as we have foster families available to welcome them into their homes. If you think you might be interested in becoming a foster and want to learn more, please go to http://foster.worthydog.org and fill out an application.
