Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Rhoda the Cat needs a home
HISTORY: RHODA (previously known as PETTIPAWS] was originally rescued by one of our volunteers, who found her cold, hungry and badly injured, probably from a fan belt. RHODA subsequently found a home through F&F, but she did not settle in well with the other cats in the family. Recently, while in foster care, she suffered a freak accident which resulted in a rear leg having to be amputated. However, she has adjusted well and is currently living at Santa Fe Cats while she waits for a permanent home.
TEMPERAMENT: RHODA is very social and thinks everything and everyone is for her entertainment. She loves to supervise human activities and is fascinated by printers, the dishwasher, vacuum cleaners, etc. She will sit on your lap and follow the cursor on your computer. YouTube clips of other animals are highly amusing to her. RHODA prefers to share her home with no other cats. She was originally fostered with a large gentle dog, so would probably adapt to another one who is cat-friendly. While she has mellowed with age, RHODA can play a little rough, so she shouldn’t be placed in a home with small children and would do well with someone who works from home, or serving as a 'mews' for an artist. She is a beautiful girl with a short black coat and white feet, chest and mustache.
