POTTY TRAINING: CandyKay is very smart and is quickly learning potty training. She will go to the door when she has to go, and patiently sit and wait for her treat when she comes back in.
CRATE: CandyKay is crate trained! She sleeps in there all night without making a peep until her people are up.
CHILDREN: Candykay is great with kids!
IDEAL HOME: CandyKay would do best in a home as the only dog or with an older mellow dog as she loves to just lounge. She can get bossy if she isn’t left alone when she is done playing.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
