There are numerous aspects you have to consider when taking care of a cat, especially when it comes to nutrition. But you need to see this from a different perspective. Cats are sensitive creatures just like humans, with plenty of necessities when it comes to maintaining a proper health and condition. And feeding is one of the most important aspects that affect their overall well-being. For more information please visit our website at www.animalshelter.org

Adopting a pet is a noble gesture. You are basically the savior of that soul and you are responsible for his life from that point forward. The post-adoption time is a real treat for anyone that is looking for a furry companion. However, the pre-adoption process can be a real nightmare for those that do not know much about adoptions. Wildlife living in forests are having a hard time these days, with clear cutting trees for new housing development that is going on. Some species are slowly becoming extinct. That means that our rapid growth might cause the complete disappearance of certain types of animals. Surely we, as responsible individuals, can do something about this. But what is there to be done? Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat)
PHOEBE the Dog needs a home
Cute little Phoebe weighs in at a mere five pounds, which is lucky because she frequently ends up carrying that weight around on her two front legs like a circus performer. Phoebe has fused hind legs due to some unknown birth defect or past injury and walks oddly when using all four legs. She tends to use all four legs indoors and just the front two outdoors. She doesn''t appear to be in any pain but doesn''t love going up and down long flights of stairs. Phoebe is housetrained and gets along with other mellow dogs of all sizes and cats but is snappy and defensive around high energy and young dogs and cats. She needs a home without young children (12+) as well. Phoebe is very snuggly and likes to sleep under the covers with you, and if you give her a couple weeks to settle in you will see what a joyful, happy little dog she is!
For more information or to meet Phoebe, contact Cheryl at 801-261-2919 x295. She is in a foster home and available to meet by appointment. Phoebe''s adoption fee is $150 which includes one set of vaccinations, deworming, spay, microchip, a certificate for a free exam with a participating local veterinarian, and a slip leash to take her home.
