“Grackle” McFeatherFur the Cat needs a home
DOB: 4/1/17
Meet Grackle! He is a very sweet character, once you earn his trust. He loves to play and run around with his buddies, chasing toys and the occasional cricket that makes it into the house. His favorite toy is a feather/string toy, which he promptly steals away from his buddies in order to hide it away from everyone else. There will never be any doubt about which cat in the house is being vocal at any moment, as Grackle “talks” a lot, and has a very distinctive squawky meow, which sounds a lot like someone has just squeezed a kewpie doll. His stunning black coat is extremely soft and shiny and he loves to be petted and scratched under the chin. Grackle also loves to cuddle up in your lap or on your chest, and will gently nibble on your fingers when he feels it is time to be fed, or if he wants his favorite freeze-dried chicken treats.
He did have a traumatic start with humans however, and will need a bit of patience while he adjusts to his new home. He and his two sisters were abandoned in front of the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary at about 8 weeks old, stuffed into a bird cage. Due to this, Grackle can be a bit shy at first.
He is very good with other cats and dogs, but is pretty much a one-person kitty. He must be adopted with another kitty to keep him content and occupied, or into a home with an existing young cat.
