Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Cocoa the Dog needs a home

~~Cocoa is the most gentle spirit and so deserving of a loving home. She loves to be cuddled and give kisses, and knows when she is loved and appreciates it with all her heart.

This little senior lady came to us from the Caddo shelter, and immediately won the fosters’ hearts. She is moderately active and loves being with her human. She will thrive in a quiet home with one or two adults.

Cocoa is a special needs girl. She is around 11 years old and weighs just over 4 lbs. Cocoa has occasional seizures, and takes medicine to control them. When she arrived at LABM, she had skin issues, which have pretty much been brought under control. She is up to date on shots, heart worm negative, kennel trained and appears house trained.

If you have been looking for a loving companion to share your life with, please consider adopting Cocoa. The love you give her will be returned ten-fold....if not more.

Our adoption fee for most pups/dogs starts at $250, which includes utd shots, deworming, a wellness check and by 5 months of age spay/neutering along with rabies vaccine at Robinson Rescue in Shreveport, LA.

Once we receive your adoption application, our Board will review i t & get back to you as soon as possible. Then, we require a nonrefundable deposit of $ 100.00 of the adoption fee to hold the pup/dog until placement.
