Caper the Dog needs a home
Caper is a sweet Chihuahua mix who gets along great with his foster parent's small dogs. He has not been exposed to kids yet, but he would probably do well with older, considerate children. Caper was found running loose with a quite a bit of his hair missing due to untreated flea infestation. He has been treated and, fortunately, his hair has returned, as we think that this may have scared off potential adopters from this poor boy.
Caper is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. He has tested negative for heartworms.

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).

Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
