Adopt a American Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)
Sweet Pea the Dog needs a home
Sweet Pea is one of our santuary dogs and has been in rescue for a very long time.
Sweet Pea absolutely adores people, young or old and will hang out with you on the couch for hours or play ball with you in the yard. She is a very affectionate girl and loves to give gentle kisses.
Sweet Pea is crate trained and house trained. She is great in the car (just lays down and sleeps) and likes to lay down in a sunny place with her canine friends to bath in the sun.
Sweet Pea gets very excited when she meets new canine friends so slow introduction to other dogs is a must. She loves playing with all the other dogs in her foster home and especially enjoys running through the huge meadow behind her current foster home.
Sweet Pea has no medical issues and is a healthy girl but has developed occasional seizures. We do not know what causes them as they are very irregular and she does not require medication. It does not seem to affect her in any way, but will need to be monitored.
Sweet Pea is such a good girl and has been looking for her own family for such a long time. We sincerely hope that someone will be able to see what a wonderful personality she really has.
Please email her foster mom at [email protected] for more information.
