Lainey H the Dog needs a home
Meet Lainey aka "wiggle-butt", a sweet and silly pibble mix at approx 1 yo, weighing 40lbs. She has a shiny black coat and beautiful golden-brown eyes. She has a great smile and her ears stand straight up in the air--they are so cute! When she greets you or wants loving, she wiggles her way into your arms for pets. And you'll quickly learn that belly rubs are her favorite! She loves to play with toys, particularly peanut butter in a kong toy. Yummy treats like carrots and apples are her favorites and she takes them gently.
Lainey is a loyal and loving pup. She would love a home with kiddos to play with and love on. She is very sweet and smart and learns quickly. She knows many commands such as, sit, shake, lay, stay and 'look at me'. She is working on 'heel, and 'leave it'. Car rides are one of her favorite activities and she is a well behaved passenger. She loves to go on walks around the neighborhood and would want playtime in the yard. She loves to sunbathe and nap in the backyard too. Lainey would prefer to be the only pet in her home but could have a doggy sibling. She is crate trained and potty trained.
Another thing about Lainey, she is a Hurricane Harvey rescue dog who was in a shelter in South Texas when Hurricane Harvey rolled through. Luckily, Paws In The City rescued her in September 2017 and gave her a second chance at finding her furever home.
