Todd the Dog needs a home

DOB - 11-11-2014

Todd, brother to Cora and Bonnie, with a different set of character flaws.  He also is a special needs boy that is extremely fearful and if adopted will need to have limited freedom by his new people.  He needs to learn not to be fearful in his new environment and that can only be achieved with limited freedom and constant interaction with people.  He is not a fear biter but tries to withdraw instead.  He seems to do fine with other dogs but does try to be dominant with his littermates.  He does not have recall because of his fearfulness and will run off but seems to stay around the area if he gets loose.

He has never messed in the house so can be housetrained, but he acts claustrophobic when indoors.  He walks well on a lead.  He has never been abused since he has been in the system since 8 wks. of age.  It is just his character and will need a special person who will love him and give him time to adjust.  He cannot just be put out into the yard and be expected to respond well to a person.  That will only accelerate his fear factor.

Above all this he is a sweet boy and gentle natured.

Todd has been neutered, micro-chipped and is on heart worm preventative. He is up to date on his vaccinations.
