Max brought so much happiness to our family, which is why we want to help sweet dogs like Max find loving families. Chrissy was born about November 14, 2017 and we "feel" will likely weigh in the 60 lb. range when full grown. Please understand we are TRULY guessing at breed and ultimate size. We chosen breeds of Retriever and Shepherd as general breeds for them, but feel there are a lot of different things in them and a DNA test would be fun! We've noted that some have more of a down ear and some are perked and a couple are brindle which takes a very specific gene that is only found in about a dozen breeds anywhere from Chihuahua to Great Dane and, of course, the Terriers including Pits. We feel their faces are more on the slim side such as a Shepherd would be. Anyway they are CUTE and very friendly and loving. Four families are going to be very lucky they found these fur kids! They have a nice medium energy unlike the litter of Border Collies we have right now that are bouncing off the walls. LOL! This is all we know so far as the southern shelters don't ask questions upon intake as they feel the reason is often financial and embarrassing. So we will be learning as we go and so will you.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $400.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
