Hi, I’m Cisco. I’m a mellow, sweet, and complicated guy. To most of the world, I am a timid spook with a hearty ba-wooo bawl. I hide from people I don’t know and am just plain-out shy around everything. I don’t hunt but I do like to go on leashed walks. I’m unsure about toys, vacuums, neighbor dogs, and anything that moves or doesn’t move. I take medicatio
n for anxiety and I have served time in the big house. I don’t like to talk about that, but my foster momma will tell you all about it.
To that special person, I am the most dedicated honey-bug there could ever be. I’m loyal to a fault. I want to be everywhere you go and will wail if I have to be without you. You, my special person, will have at least one other confident and easy-going big dog for me to latch onto. Two is even better. You’ll be extra-careful to make sure I never get off my leash or outside of a fenced yard. You’re patient and you secretly take great joy in watching a shy dog blossom. You’ll let me look adoringly into your eyes while you scritch my giant, soft ears as I press against you like a giant cat. You’ll have a very quiet/uneventful home and neighbors that don’t mind my deep singing voice. I’m house trained, potty trained, crate trained (though I’m not a big fan of being crated and can be trusted to not get into trouble if left uncrated), and know how to sit, shake, and lay down. Even with all that, my special person will still work with me on my obedience training because it will help us build an amazing bond. You’ll find my contradictory desire to protect our home while still being a timid boy totally endearing. I’m a silly, sweet, and quirky boy – my special person will love those quirks and know that my fears and mistrust will ease with time and love. I know you’re out there, my most special person, just waiting for your most special dog to come along. I’m being fostered in Minnesota.
