From the Foster: I foster a lot of momma dogs and their litters, but Carmen is truly one of a kind! She is the perfect size, in my opinion... big enough to be sturdy and go hiking, but small enough to curl up in a ball next to you at night! She is a wonderful momma, but is ready to find a home of her own! She has not had one accident in my house - that being said, ALWAYS expect accidents at first - these transitions can be hard! She is smart, loves all people, and is motivated to learn. She does great with my 3 year old and 8 year old kiddos. She has met my dogs briefly, and as long as her pups aren't around, she does fine. I would prefer she be with a male dog, since 2 females can be hard (not always!). She hasn't met a cat at my house, but I definitely think she would chase a running cat - she has that herder instinct. She has been in a room with her puppies at my house, so has not been crated. She isn't destructive, other than tearing up a paper towel roll or two when bored :) She is affectionate but not clingy, fun loving but not hyper. She will be a GREAT girl for some lucky family!
