Adopt a Tuxedo / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Gemini the Cat needs a home
Gemini got his name, because we were trying to trap a black and white cat that we kept seeing and it turned out there were actually two black and white cats--twins. Gemini was not a feral cat, however. He had been dumped and was already neutered when we took him to the vet. He was also extremely friendly and had just been scared being outside. Because we thought he was a feral cat and planned to return him outside, he is ear-tipped. Once we saw how friendly he was, however, we brought him inside. Gemini is about 2-3 years old.
Gemini loves people, but he tends to be a dominant cat, so he probably would be happiest as an only cat. He has been around one non-dominant female cat and is okay with her, but he prefers people to cats. He could slowly be introduced to another cat, but we think that would be his limit and you would need to take it very slow so he would not be stressed. We think he would probably be okay with dogs and older children. He loves to sit in your lap while you watch television. He loves to be held and picked up. He is a big boy--not fat, but just long and muscular. He is a talker and will call to you if he wants your attention. He also loves to play and can keep himself occupied for hours with a toy mouse, a cardboard box, and some catnip.
Gemini has had a dental, is up-to-date on vaccines, is FIV/feline leukemia negative, is microchipped, and has been on flea preventative.
