Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Honey - Longest Resident the Cat needs a home

PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTION!  OUR SHELTER IS FULL!

Hello there,

My name is Honey and I am as sweet as my namesake!  The shelter staff think I am the momma to all the cute orange kittens at the shelter.  I am 1-1/2 years old and all orange tabby.  I love to be pet and to set my head on your hand.  I am small but mighty!  I should do fine with other cats and kids, but the shelter staff hasn't had me out with the dog yet to see how I'd do with her.  You can always call the shelter for more information about me - I am so new the staff is learning all kinds of things about me every day.

I am in foster care, so all you need to do is simply make an appointment with the shelter to meet me! I guarantee you'll fall in love with me and want to take me home!

The Pepin County Humane Society has been in business for close to 30 years. We are a very small shelter with only 5 dog kennels & 9 cat kennels. Because we're so small we are able to get to know the animals that cross our path VERY well. PLEASE NOTE it is our policy NOT to do same-day adoptions.  We do encourage you to come in to meet the animals and fill out the adoption paperwork.  Talk to any staff member for details.  Fees for adoption are as follows: *DOGS-$150.00 includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Rabies and Distemper Vax, Heartworm Test, Fecal test, Deworming & ID Tag. *CATS-$100.00 includes Spay/Neuter, Feline Leukemia Test, Fecal test, Rabies and Distemper vaccines & De-worming. We run on a very small limited budget so cash donations are always welcome. Volunteers for fundraising projects are needed. Come visit us! We are located 1 1/2 hours from the Twin Cities & 30 miles southwest of Eau Claire, WI on Highway 85. For more detailed directions, call or e-mail us, we'd be glad to help you. *No appointment is necessary to come & visit our animals. Our business hours are: Daily 5-7:30pm and Saturday 9am-11am. Otherwise by appointment. Pepin County Humane Society PO Box 113 1008 West Wells Street Durand, WI 54736 Phone: (715) 672-8389
