Auburn the Dog needs a home

18 Nov 2017: Do you ever wonder where you will end up as a senior? Will there be someone to care for you as you get on in your years? Will the last part of your life be spent with loved ones? Looking back on life will your memories be filled with happin

ess? Was life good to you? Getting older is part of life, but who wants to grow older and not have a family to love, or be loved back? We would like you to Meet Auburn a beautiful Senior who we know feels the exact same way as we just described to all of you. Auburn doesn’t want to spend her elder years alone being in a boarding situation. She deserves so much more then that. Sadly for Auburn who is presently in boarding in Long Island she doesn't have the comforts of a home and she is not surrounded by loving people who make her feel she is worth something. If she doesn’t get an offer from a loving family she will be spending more days alone sitting in a kennel feeling very upset, very unloved and defeated. Auburn is a Doberman/mix. She is an elder who is 10 years old. She recently completed Heart Worm treatment and is doing very well. Auburn is a very sweet dog. She is kind and very respectful when meeting new people. She was very friendly and respectful when introduced to a young child. Auburn does not like being around other dogs. She will need a home with no other pets. Auburn will be a wonderful fit for a retired couple looking for a loyal pet. Having a yard where she can enjoy some outside time and be able to snuggle up with her people is what will make Auburn happy. She would do well with a single person as well looking for a loyal companion to spend her days. If you have a family Auburn will be best in a quite home. She needs limited activity since she just finished her Heart worm protocol. Since Auburn is older she is low key, not over the top. She would love to sit in a dog bed and relax or keep you company while you read a good book. Auburn is current on her vetting, and spayed. Elders should always be loved, come first and feel they are worth something, No matter human or Pet. Please let Auburn know she is very important by filling out an application to foster or adopt her so she doesn’t have to spend anther day in a boarding situation.
