What do you see when you look at Railay?
To most, she’s “just another brown pitbull.” I suppose with the overly saturated pictures, posts and pleas we see on a daily basis begging for a home for these precious souls, that’s what one WOULD see. But res
t assured, if you experience her in person, Railay’s personality will make you think twice about assuming she’s some ordinary dog.
Let’s begin with her eyes. Full of soul. It’s like looking right into her heart when she locks eyes with you. She lives for affection and she’s not shy about letting anyone know it either. Immediately she greets you with a hug. She listens when you tell her down, and she will do anything for a tasty treat. She nibbles them out of my hand like a gentle bunny rabbit. Railay is great with people of all sizes and ages. She can get a touch rambunctious when it comes to other dogs so a meet and greet would be best to be sure she gets along with a particular dog. A typical terrier, Railay chases squirrels, cats and other small animals so it’s best she go to a home where someone is comfortable handling her on walks, you never know when a squirrel will be playing Tarzan in the trees!
Railay is a rock star. There’s no good reason a dog as special as she is, has not had a single person ask to bring her into their home.
