Rufus the Dog needs a home

Meet RUFUS aka ROO...this sweet quiet boy sat on the side of Rt. 301 in Caroline County for 5 days in the same spot waiting for someone to pick him up.  Roo is approx. 4-5 years old and healthy weight will be about 50lbs.  He is a gentle, easy going fella who seems to be fine with other animals.  Roo is quickly realizing all the rescue wants him to do is be healthy and loved and he doesn't need to worry about hunting anymore.  He has wonderful potential to be a wonderful companion or addition to a family.  Roo is neutered, current on his shots and microchipped.  He is heartworm positive and until he can be in a foster home or is adopted will be starting a slow kill treatment.  Our application can be found online at www.hhk-9rescue.org by clicking the adoptions button at the top of the page.
