Adopt a Maltese (short coat)

What is your dog on bed pawlicy? If you read the fine print of my adoption contract it should have a claws that reads “Harvey will sleep on the bed”.  At my Foster House though, I am settling for the crate and soft blankets, but I would much rather be on that bed, so I am going to negotiate it into my adopter’s contract.  I was on the urgent list at the local city shelter.  It isn’t like Santa’s list, not one you want to be on. My hair has been shaved due to some matting. Once it grows back in full and I get that trim up done, bow wow howdy, you are going to be shouting for joy, because I am a Maltese and have a cotton ball coat.  I am 7 years old, but have kept my pup-petual puppy face.  I weigh in at a hefty 15 pounds. I am calm and will immediately do a tummy show when I meet you to show you I come in peace.  It helps if you come in peace too and by that I mean with peaces of bacon, I love food.  My Foster Home does let me up on the couch and it is the best place for cuddles and belly rubs. Walks are cool too and I am fairly good on a lead.  I get along with all the dogs here.  There are cats here too and I am curious about them, but we haven’t had any mixers yet to get nose to nose acquainted. And finally, I am potty trained with the use of a doggie door or I go stand by the human size door and wait for a human to open it. My Foster Mom can tell you more, she knows all about me now!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
