Tank D3940 the Dog needs a home
Tank is pure love. Tank LOVES his people. He loves to ‘talk’ with his people. A more vocal dog you will not meet. He hmmmms, hwwwws, nudges and nuzzles with great affection. Attention will be his greatest reward when teaching him new things. Tank has a well-traveled knowledge about him; he’s quite peaceful. He’s of simple needs.
Tank likes his walks and being active but hanging out with his family will be even more satisfying. He seems to have interest in toys but isn’t a fetcher. Tank enjoys other dogs and is very vocal with them. It can be a little unnerving at first but Tank can’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s a large dog but don’t tell him that there isn’t any room on the bed for him. He wants to snuggle and love you.
Tank isn’t destructive or wound up. He seems to be fine left to his own devices. As long as he knows that you’re coming home, he’ll be there to greet you with a smile and wagging tail. If you want a mellow, faithful furry member of the family, Tank is your guy. Tank is around 90 lbs and 6 years old.
Tank is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, and he is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, Tank will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on his commands with his handlers. Please contact us to find out more about Tank. Meet and greets can be arranged with a Wags & Whiskers volunteer in the prison lobby, adoption event, or other locations for an approved applicant.
