Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)

We would like to reintroduce Fawn!  Sometimes dogs come into rescue and they are overlooked for some reason.  This seems to be the case with Fawn-a Roo.  Fawn has been in rescue since May 2017.  Since being in rescue she has come a long way.  She is a shy little girl who had a rough start in life.  We don't know exactly what happened to her on the streets in Texas, but we do know that she unconditionally loves her person.  When Fawn arrived in Buffalo, not only was she heartworm positive, but we noticed that she had some coordination issues.  We of course, have had the heartworm treated.  As for the coordination issues, Fawn does not seem to be affected by it all.  She is a perfectly normal dog who loves to play, and snuggle under a blanket with her person. Since being in her foster home, Fawn has conquered how to go up a full flight of stairs, and is learning how to walk on a leash!    Fawn is mostly housebroken and is is crate trained.  It does take her a little bit to settle into your routine but then she comes out of her shell and her loving personality shines through.  Fawn would do best in a quieter home with older children(11+) who will be respectful of her size.  She is fine with kids who come to visit the constant activity of small children does make her a little nervous. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, fawn is the one for you!

Fawn is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and she has completed her heartworm treatment.  Fawn will need to remain on heartworm treatment for the rest of her life.  Please take that into consideration if you are interested in making Fawn your special girl!  Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
