Adopt a Shar Pei / American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

I am a one of a kind find and quirky dawg. My camo colored eyes match my olive wrinkled Sharpei fur.  I even have a tipped ear like a fixed feral kitty, but really no clue on how my ear got notched, so you can make up any cool back story to tell your friends.  I am a 3 year old 40 poundish man of mystery. My current family calls me Buddy and I have been a good kind loving buddy to the current dog that lives here, we play chase and then settle down for a nap.  I love to spend time with my Mom and the older child that lives here. I enjoy long naps on the couch, but do not enjoy being interrupted by the loud child called a toddler, so I am really hoping for a home with older children or no children, because seriously, these toddley ones have no off button and I need my cutie sleep.  When I am awake, I do enjoy cuddles and kisses from humans even the little 4 year old gentle human that lives here.  Having an in-house canine playmate and companion is cool beans, but I am not the type of dog you can just take to any dog park and let loose, I take a while to warm up to new fur friends, so if you are a dog park fanatic, I am probably not the boy for you. I am housetrained and my favorite treats are minnows. One of my favorite games is to play with my toys.   There is a cat that lives here too and I am cool about it, but I really purrrfurrrr (sure I speak cat) that the cat keep their distance and I do too. I would be great buddy for the right quiet family that enjoys chilling out and most of all couch naps. I just need work on my confidence in busy and loud over-whelming situations, so I don’t think I want a home like that right away.  Would I fit for you?  Then please email Adoptions at Godsdogsrescue.org and tell them you want ME!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - all of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
