BEAU the Dog needs a home
BEAU is a total sweetheart! He is approximately 60 lbs, mostly solid black/brownish with some white on his toes and under his feet, and estimated to be about 2 years old. He is very gentle with people and good with other dogs, especially small ones. Beau came to us after being dumped in rural south Texas. After finding his way to a couple's home, where he was taken in, vetted, and fattened up a bit, he was sent north to Nana's. Beau is crate and housetrained, and NOT a chewer.
Beau had an adopter waiting, but due to his having some obvious prior injury to his back side, they decided not to take him. So sweet Beau waits here at Nana's for his forever family to come claim him. Beau does have some obvious issues with his back end, but after X-rays and a thorough examination by our vet, it has been determined that Beau's prior injuries have healed And like any true Pittie, Beau has recovered without surgery or any help from whoever dumped him. Beau has a "swagger" when he walks, a somewhat stiff back leg, but overall, he should have a full life with a likelihood of Arthritis as he ages. He is just a normal dog with a hitch in his get-along. He is still able to run with the big dogs!
