Shawney the Dog needs a home

Hi, I'm SHAWNEY - cute as can be!  I'm 3 years old and sweet, but cannot be crated.  I'm actually happy, sweet, very active and phenomenally  adorable once I get to know and trust you but  I intensely dislike being confined in a crate and will react by growling or nipping when being put in or taken out of the crate.  I can be dog and person selective; if I like you then we're okay.  If not, I can be reactive and could even nip.  Because I have this issue, it is recommended that my forever family does not include children.  I would do best in a home with a low level of stimulation; a calmer, quiet, environment would be ideal but with a space to use my boundless energy. I enjoy playing with my foster in a fenced yard so that would be a must for my new home.  I'm curious about my foster family's cat but I'm not sure what could happen if I ever had the chance to interact with them.  I am spayed, up-to-date on Rabies and yearly vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.  I'm ready to go to a home who can with time, love, appreciation of my high energy level and patient experienced training will help me be all that I can and should be.
