RESCUING MATILDA

This adorable little girl was dumped at Henry County Animal Control overnight with some skin issues. She has lots of little flaky areas all over her body that appears to be a potential case of juvenile cellulitis, more commonly known as puppy strangles. Henry County does not adopt pit bulls out to the public and this sweet little girl was scheduled to be euthanized by the end of the week. Luckily, one of our long-time foster families stepped up to take her in.

ABOUT MATILDA

Our vet confirmed Matilda has a non-contagious form of mange called demodex. She is being treated for her mange and the underlying skin infection. So far, her foster mom says she is a super fun and very smart little girl.

*Please check back for updates on this cute little lady!*

Our adoption fee is $250. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.
