Ryder (hold) the Rabbit needs a home
Ryder broke his leg in his former home and his family couldn't afford surgery, so he was surrendered to MHRR in Feb 2018.
The fracture was bad enough that the leg had to be amputated (2/6/18), but that hasn't slowed Ryder down! He is healing and recuperating in foster care and working on litterbox training. Next month he will be neutered after he has healed some and is old enough. He is a little nervous at first but also curious, likes pets if you go slow.
This pet is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
