DOG'S DESCRIPTION
Precious is a sweet gal who was seems to have had a rough life up until now. But that's in her past. Now she's snuggled into a loving foster home, has put on weight, and is doing really well. Precious is laid-back, mellow, and good with other dogs. Her foster mom says she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She has done great on house training and uses the doggy door regularly. This poor baby is heartworm positive, but we'll take care of that! All she needs now is a loving furever home.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
