Standard Adoption Fee Adult Dog: $250 ea.  Puppy Adoption Fee: $300 ea. Reduced rates for Seniors dogs (10 and up).  Reduced rates for pairs (when adopted together).

Hiya I'm Zuni Sun, a 2 year old dachshund mix looking for my furever family! I am ready for a new home. I play well with the fur kids in my foster home. I'd love an active dog friend (big OR small is fine with me) but I could also be an only dog.  I am doggie door trained, housetrained, good on a leash,

crate trained, active, I run like the wind, love to play with toys, very sweet and good in the car.

I love toys and will flip them around and play all by myself. 

I can be a bit timid at first but I do warm up to you really well. I really am a sweet girl who likes to be near my people, sleep in the big bed or doggy bed near you, and be part of family life. I seem to really like the men in my foster home, though my foster mom is cool too. I'm looking for a special family who can give me some space and quiet while I adjust but eventually can provide me with toys, and fun! Does this sound like you? Submit your application today!!!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
