Smokey's guardian had to move and couldn't take her dogs along, so she surrendered them to the SPCA for Monterey County. Smokey has totally come out of his shell in his foster home and proven to be a VERY good boy!
Smokey does well with other dogs of all sizes and has a wonderfully calm, friendly demeanor. He can be playful with the right canine buddies or he can just hang out. He does like to let you know when people are at the door or things are happening - he's a talkative guy!
