Adopt a Snowshoe / Mixed (short coat)

Snowshoe / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Whiskey the Cat needs a home

DOB: 8/10/2007

Whiskey was born in herfoster home on August 10, 2007 to a feral mom.  She was adopted as a kitten but returned to Kitten Rescue in December 2010 after her adopter lost his job and home and had to move out of state.

Whiskey is friendly, talkative and rather goofy.  She is initially a little shy with strangers and can be slightly jumpy, but once she warms up to you she is extremely loyal and cuddly.  She is a dedicated lap cat and has a wonderful squeak of a meow.

Whiskey has spent a lot of her life in a home with dogs and doesn't mind them, so long as they aren't too hyper.

Whiskey is prone to allergies and sometimes her skin can get a little red and bumpy. Particularly bad flareups are treated with a cortisone injection - these are warranted maybe 1-2 times per year.

If you are interested in learning more about Whiskey or in adopting her, please click here to email her foster dad.

If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.
