Junebug the Dog needs a home
Junebug, aka Juney, is a very timid girl that was possibly abused in her past life. However, that life is now behind her and she is in a foster home and slowly coming out of her shell with her foster dad and mom, another dog her size, and even a cat! (She is curious about the cat and wants to sniff but is wary if the cat looks at her!) She is still very timid when a new person enters the home but is making wonderful progress for the short time she's been in foster care. She loves to run and will run around in circles in the back yard (fenced of course) but would rather have a buddy to hang with or her trusted people outside with her. She can also be a huge couch potato! Juney is learning how to be a snuggle buddy and will jump up on the bed to sleep with anyone there. She knows some basic commands such as sit, stay, come (unless she's scared), and is learning more each day. She walks well on a leash for being so timid still and would probably make someone a great hiking or running partner with a little more training. Juney has one ear that is usually up and one that doesn't seem able to be up and is always flopped half over. She also has big brown doe eyes that will just melt your heart! She is house trained and weighs approx 71# and is about 6 years old.
