Eva is an apx 3 year old catahoula beagle mix with one blue who looking for the right place to call home. She was originally feral and had multiple litters before she was caught, but has made tremendous progress toward befriending humans and learning how to be a pet. She is still very skittish, especially with new people and men, and will take a patient and dedicated owner to help her come out of her shell. She still will run if you approach her, but will follow her person from room to room and come sit next to you on the couch for scratches once she warms up.
Because of her fear issues, a home without young children would be best. Eva is house trained, walks well on a leash, and is dog and cat friendly. She gets tremendously stressed in a crate, but does not have accidents or chew if left loose in the house while her humans are away. Eva does an adorable happy wiggle dance when her humans come home and gets so excited when you talk to her in a high voice. This sweetheart makes progress everyday and will make a loyal and loving companion for the right person.
