Adopt a Pomeranian (long coat)

Pomeranian (long coat) Dog

Bitsy the Dog needs a home

Bitsy came to us in April, 2017 from a local shelter. She was said to be tossed out of a car. Her hair was matted, ears infected along with bad teeth and she was obese. Since coming into rescue she has had her dental. She only has 5 teeth left.

Had to have all her hair shaved due to the matts. As of July, 2017 she has lost 3 pounds so far, now down to around 11 pounds and still dieting.

She is so happy now. She will run and bark along with the other dogs. Just don’t let a bigger one bump into her. She will let them know to settle down.

She still has a large hernia on her belly that the vet was unable to fix, but it does not seem to bother her. She may have the start of Cushings so she will require regular vet visits. She loves to sleep in bed with you and cuddle. She doesn’t really interact with the other dogs to play. She loves people and to get her butt scratched. She does have issues with frequent wetting and does use potty pads but does not always hit them. Always goes outside for bowel movements. She will watch your face the whole time while walking backwards hoping you are going into the kitchen to feed her. So one does have to be careful not to trip over her.

She is just a doll, will put many smiles on your face. She needs a special person that will be able to love her the way she is.

In foster care in Columbus, OH.
