Olivia the Dog needs a home
Introducing Olivia the Outstanding cuddling lap dog! Olivia -- or Livy as she is known to close family and friends -- is a people pleaser! She absolutely adores being with her person and would do well with a family that is a stay at home, works from home or retired person. She’s not particularly interested in her canine companions at this time, but she may warm up to canine family members after residing together. She is dog friendly, and even puppy friendly! Livy has mastered the fascinating doggy door, so she could get back to her people and out of the cold ... brrr! She’s learned to go to her crate but isn’t super fond of it. She is house trained. We suspect that in her previous home she was given human food, which although yummy did NOT agree with her canine tummy and resulted in bladder stones and an infection. The vet has recommended that Livy eat only k/d diet dog food and no table scraps, and Livy has accepted her new reality and is eating well. This dog is a cuddle bug and loves to be right next to her person. If you are doing household chores, Livy is there to oversee the work. She wants to be your shadow and is eager to have her very own forever family, one that is interested in providing her a lap on which she can sit or be near. Livy is a three-year-old Maltese/Chihuahua mix female,10 pounds, and is fully vetted. She could adapt to an apartment/condo or a home, wherever her person wants to be.?
