Benny the Cat needs a home
Benny was found as a stray in Bellingham and after spending 5 long days in a tree was rescued by an animal control officer and taken to a local shelter. Benny tested positive for feline leukemia and the other shelter reached out to Purrfect Pals so Benny could be saved. He was placed in a loving foster home and was spoiled by a great family until he came to stay in the leukemia room at the shelter. Benny is adorable with a great disposition, he likes people and will give head bumps and loves to be petted all over even sometimes on his belly. He's laid back but likes to play with a string type toy once in a while but enjoys watching the younger kitties at play. Benny loves to eat treats and will clean up any left over by the other cats. He gets along really well with his feline roommates often sharing the same bed and grooming them. This sweet guy has occasionally made himself at home in a volunteers lap but will not challenge the other cats for the privilege. Benny qualifies for the Permanent Foster Program where any Feline Leukemia related health issues with be cared for and the cost covered by Purrfect Pals. And like all Purrfect Pals cats he has been viral tested, altered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
