Adopt a Border Collie / Mixed (long coat)
CONNIE the Dog needs a home
My name is Connie. I am a former street dog from Kabul. I was taken in by the nowzad shelter in 2011 when the local municipality were undertaking population control by way of poisoning dogs.
I am a quiet, shy dog who loves people once I get to know them. I have no issues with other dogs and have shown no reaction to cats in the clinic. It can take a while for me to trust new people but once I do trust them then I love being stroked.
I am not particularly active and do not jump up and I wait patiently at treat time. I am a little overweight and I do sometimes get a pink rash on my tummy but it comes and goes.
I am not house trained as all I have ever known is the shelter but I am eager and willing to learn.
I am spayed and microchipped.
