Cats are sensitive creatures just like humans, with plenty of necessities when it comes to maintaining a proper health and condition. And feeding is one of the most important aspects that affect their overall well-being. For more information please visit our website at www.animalshelter.org

Adopting a pet is a noble gesture. You are basically the savior of that soul and you are responsible for his life from that point forward. The post-adoption time is a real treat for anyone that is looking for a furry companion. However, the pre-adoption process can be a real nightmare for those that do not know much about adoptions. Wildlife living in forests are having a hard time these days, with clear cutting trees for new housing development that is going on. Some species are slowly becoming extinct. That means that our rapid growth might cause the complete disappearance of certain types of animals. Surely we, as responsible individuals, can do something about this. But what is there to be done? Blush the Dog needs a home
Meet Blush! This 8-year-old love-bug is friendly with everyone she meets and will walk right up to you to get pet; she is just a sweetheart! She is house and crate trained and puts herself to sleep at night. Blush quickly won over the hearts of her foster family, including her foster fur sibling, and does not seem to care about the cats in the house. She is great with the kids in the house, her foster family says she is the easiest foster ever! This social girl does better with a dog sibling in the home with her, or a family that is home more often than not, she prefers to be with someone (dog or human) over being home alone. Blush does have a slight limp but our vets have x-rayed and evaluated her and she does not need any further attention, though she does take arthritis medication. This sweetheart enjoys heading out on short walks with you, she will need a ramp to get into the car as she can't quite jump in and does not like to be picked up. Blush is a calm, happy girl who loves to be with her people. This sweet girl does well off leash and is happy to have a bath. If you are ready for the exciting adventure of adding to your family by adopting a dog, and you are interested in meeting Blush, your first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website.
This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
