Tuff the Dog needs a home
Meet our handsome little Tuff! Tuff is a petite Labrador mix, coming in at about 40-45 pounds. Compact and fun! He is about 5-6 years old (as of Aug. 2017 We think he is a Labrador mixed with a breed that is known for brindle coloring (Boxer, Plott Hound, Treeing Tennessee Brindle as a long shot?). At first glance he may seem all black with a spot of white on his chest, but he has a )gorgeous, subtle brindle coloring on all four legs.
Tuff would make a great outdoor buddy for the active outdoor family or household with teenagers. He is a super smart guy so eager to please, he just wants to learn. He sleeps in a crate every night without accidents so we think he is house-trained as well. He would love to learn some basic commands and earn the love of a special human or family out there.
He would need a cat-free household and most likely a home without another dog. He gets along with most dogs but can be a little confrontational if the introduction wasn’t ideal. With that said, he would love all the human attention for himself. Smaller children may make him too anxious.
Tuff is an adult at 5-6 years old.
The adoption fee for Tuff is $150 which includes spay or neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events.
