Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Nota the Cat needs a home
~~Nota
This pretty tabby came to Heartland as a wee baby with her mom and six siblings. She was adopted out quickly and just recently returned due to a new boyfriend and his child’s allergy. Nota lived with another female kitty and a lab, they all got along very well. She is not fond of the male cats at my house but does not respond to the female kitties at all, and a dog would be just fine! She lived with kids too! She was pretty scared for a couple of days which is pretty normal when you find yourself in a different home with different people, pets, and smells; but she liked me just fine right away, just not the other kitties. Cats are very smell driven and she was overwhelmed with new cat smells. After a couple of days she responded very well and just loves petting, just not so much brushing. She has refused any and all canned food or treats and just sticks to the normal cat food. She has e xcellent litter box manners and very sweet and affectionate once comfortable. Nota was born in August of 2014 and she is spayed, up to date on all shots, micro chipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Nota is Heartland #9421CL.
