FEB 23, 2017:
Charlotte was living in a terrible situation when she was trapped , a tiny kitten just skin and bones who appeared to be about 10 to 12 weeks old. But appearances can be deceiving! She weighed only 2.4 pounds at her first vet visit a few days later, but an examination revealed that she had all her adult teeth, well-established, and must be at least 6 months old.
With good foster care, Charlotte slowly put on weight and soon was strong enough to play with the other kittens who were much younger, but twice her size. Now, 3 months later, Charlotte is healthy and ready to take on the world. She's a little taller and her weight has doubled to 4.5 pounds, probably her final adult size. But size does not stop her. She'll run, chase and wrestle with all cats, even those that are 3 times her size.
Charlotte has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative on her combo test, so she's ready for a forever home that will always keep her safely indoors. She's a total sweetheart and if you meet her, you'll definitely know that the best things really do come in small packages.
