Niko was a beloved cat for many years, but her family circumstances changed and she came to CSHS to help her find a new home. Niko is sweet and affectionate with her people, and bonds strongly to them. She is not a fan of other cats or dogs...Niko prefers to be the queen bee and needs to be the only cat in the house. Niko would enjoy a calm, quiet home where she can be spoiled and be the center of attention. She will chirp and meow to let you know she needs attention or that she's hungry. She enjoys playing with her feather toy from time to time. She would benefit from a diet and some exercise (isn't that true for most of us these days?), but she mostly needs love and a warm place to snooze the day away. As you can see from her photos, she enjoys lounging with her foster parents and even time in the hammock during the summer! She is a special girl who is a favorite among our volunteers.
