Buddy (Courtesy) the Dog needs a home

Buddy is a very sweet and loving dog. He is 11 years old, but in his mind Buddy still thinks he is a puppy. He likes long walks and sniffing everything along the way. He is part cocker spaniel and part poodle. Buddy is an intelligent little fellow and half the time seems to know what you are talking about.
He has lived a country life for the last 7 years, and that agrees with him, but he is adaptable. He has lived with just two people and has had kind of a quiet life. I think Buddy could live with one other dog, but not sure about a multiple dog situation. He likes kids, but has never lived with them.
He can be a little nervous when it comes to going to the vet. He just doesn't like to be messed with a lot. He loves to be petted though, and if he gets close to you, he will get up in your lap and give you a kiss.
