Adopt a Dilute Tortoiseshell (short coat)
Kesari the Cat needs a home
~~Kesari
Kesari was picked up with her Snowshoe brother in South County by St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach and brought to our vet and we appreciate the heck out of them doing the driving for us! In rescue world you always go the extra mile to save lives. Kesari is an interesting mix of one kitty; she LOVES brushing, is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner, loves her canned food and kitty treats, but is not fond of being scruffed and put into a carrier for trips to the vet or to PetSmart for adoption day. I plan ahead when she will be traveling with me and have a carrier in her room open and ready. She causes me no harm, but will loudly protest the indignity of being forced into a carrier by the foster mom she used to trust! She will take time to adjust to a new environment and will be skittish around new humans until she is certain they are not going to harm her. She loves other kitties, and absolutely loves belly rubs. A quiet home is strongly suggested and I doubt a dog would work at all. Kitty friends are a must. Zero aggression issues, just fear issues. Kesari is a dilute tortie estimated to have been born in June of 2012. She is spayed, up to date on shots, treated for parasites, micro chipped and negative for FIV and FeLV. Kesari is Heartland #8111CL.
