Homer the Dog needs a home
Meet Homer he is a 1 year old shiba Inu/lab mix. Homer has had a hard start to his young life but you wouldn't know it by meeting him. Homer is a very sweet active boy who loves to be with his human. He will greet you every morning when you wake up with a wagging tail a nudge and most likely a slipper in his mouth. He loves to carry things around in his mouth but doesn't destroy them. Homer loves to play with his dogs, cats and humans. He loves to play fetch or a good game of tug a war. Homer can be a little shy in new situations but warms up pretty quickly. Homer would do best in an active home or with a dog who can match his energy level because he loves to play. Homer is crate trained and potty trained. He is still working on his basic commands but is picking them up quickly. Homer has had an injury to hip and paw however he has had surgery to correct the injuries and according to the vet should make a full recovery. Homer will go to his new home with instructions for a home exercise program to aid in his full recovery. He is doing great and doesn't even realize he had an injury. Homer is being fostered in ELmwood Park Il. He can't wait to meet you!
His adoption fee of $300 will include his neuter, microchip with free registration, heart worm test, dhpp/rabies vaccine, and anything else necessary to ensure a healthy dog.
