Hi everyone, my name is Dandy! I was found as a stray roaming the countryside before I came to live with my foster mama. Nobody really knows my past, but my foster mama thinks I lost part of my ear due to frostbite and my tail got broken sometime during my adventures. I’m also recovering from a tooth surgery and cold, so I look a little rough right now, but I'm getting a little better every day! And I promise that doesn't stop me from being the cutest...




 





Even though I’ve had kind of a hard life so far, I am a strong little lady who just won’t stop purring! I absolutely love people and my favorite things to do are eat and be pet. I like to knead and scratch on my floor-level cardboard toys, as well as be near my humans - my foster mama can barely get a picture of me because I’m always on the move! I have the softest fur and love to headbutt my people, doors, and ledges. I don’t mind other animals (with slow introductions to those big old doggie companions) and think that respectful kids would be awesome roommates, as long as they don’t pick me up - I don’t like that very much.

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
