Ford the Cat needs a home
Ford was rescued from a car junkyard, which is how he received his name. He was living with a bunch of feral cats and captured while one of our rescue friends was doing TNR, but it was quite apparent after his neuter surgery that he was not feral and had been someone's pet at some point because he's so friendly. Unfortunately, they did not know that at the time of his neuter so his ear was tipped to let people know that he was altered (universal sign of a fixed feral cat). Ford is such a sweet and docile boy; he's quite the gentle soul and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He can be a bit shy at first but as soon as you pet him, he just melts and rolls onto his back for tummy rubs. His purr motor pretty much runs non-stop and he enjoys cuddling with his humans. He is more quiet and reserved initially but he definitely has a playful streak and likes to bat around toy mice and wrestle with his kitten buddies. Ford loves other cats and would do well in a home with another kitty companion or two that will snuggle with him. He may adjust to a cat-friendly dog with a proper introduction but older kids are preferred as young ones may frighten him. Ford is neutered, microchipped, negative for FeLV/FIV and current on vaccinations - DOB 3/15/16 (tag # 10605JB).
